There is no greater thrill than photographing kids I have known for years. My first meeting with Alexander was when he could not stop talking on a chorus field trip while the students were being scored. I had to play the "mean mom" and give him stern looks that probably earned me the title of... well, probably some teenage title I do not want to imagine!
My next meeting with Alexander was when he was a freshman and playing a fantastic roll in his high school production of "Hair Spray." He went on to feature in many other plays, and is an absolutely charming and stellar young man. He comes from a spectacular family whom I am honored and privileged to call friends. I can not wait to see where this life takes this wonderful young man, and I get to say "I knew him when... he was misbehaving on a chorus field trip like a little stinker." Actually, I will always beam with pride getting to see him grown into the lovely young man he is. Break a leg, Alexander!
